The Kaissa Chess Club is pleased to inform its members and friends that the organizers of the FIDE Candidates 2026 have officially requested support in forming a team of volunteers for this prestigious international chess event.
To ensure the smooth operation of the tournament, the organizers require a team of approximately 20–30 volunteers, with a core need of around 20 volunteers per shift, each day. Volunteer availability may vary, and not all volunteers are expected to work for the entire duration of the event.
Availability & Priority
Priority will be given to volunteers who are available for all days of the event. If full availability is not possible, a minimum commitment of three (3) days is required.
Volunteer Roles
Volunteers may be assigned to a variety of roles, including (but not limited to):
- Team Leader
- Infodesk
- Visitor Services
- Media

How to Apply
Interested individuals are kindly requested to complete the Volunteer Application Form, available on our website, as soon as possible.
Please note that submitting the form does not guarantee selection. Volunteer selection and final role allocation will be made by the event organizers.
Data & Communication
The details of applicants will be shared with the organizers of the FIDE Candidates 2026. Selected volunteers will then be contacted directly by the organizers for further coordination.
